Experience the vibrant heart of Caribbean culture as the "Long Live J’ouvert" Exhibition – Miami Edition launches at HistoryMiami Museum. This immersive showcase, part of the larger J'ouvert Genesis Immersive Experience, delves into the history, resistance, and resilience of J'ouvert, the pre-dawn emancipation celebration that originated in Trinidad and Tobago.
The exhibition officially opens with a special Opening Night Celebration on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Guests can enjoy an exhibit tour, live music, traditional characters, storytelling, and festive food and drink.
